This June, I will be traveling to Velikie Luki, Russia for 2 weeks with E3 Partners to partner with Pastor Anatoly Chubakov and his church!  Our mornings will be spent doing children's ministry at the church and at a local orphanage. In the afternoons, we will be building relationships with young adults at the local park.

I have always had a passion for Russia and its people. For many years I have wanted to travel to Russia and minister to its people and have been praying for the opportunity to arise. God has answered those prayers with this trip. I feel very strongly this is the time and place I am called to go right now. 

As Americans, it can be easy to see Russia as an enemy. However, they are a country just as broken as us, searching for truth and peace. In Velikie Luki, less than 1/10th of 1% call themselves Christians. The need is great. I cannot put into words how excited I am to share the love and goodness of Christ with these people. While I have never been anywhere remotely near Russia, the country and her people hold a very dear place in my heart.
