This is my second trip to Yurimagaus. Yurimaguas sits in the Amazon Basin in the northern portion of Peru. Our intent is to strengthen the work done in 2015 and begin new work, too. On this trip,we will continue do evangelism, mentoring our friends in Yurimaguas and the new believers. Then we will begin to disciple the new believers with simple stories from the Bible, and teach them how to reach and help others once our trip is over.

There were so many great things accomplished in 2015 and I am looking forward to seeing how God has blessed the people there since then. This year Emily is going back with me. Did you know all believers in Christ are part of the mission field?: 
 

• Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”  
  

• It is just as the Scripture says: “Everyone who believes in Him will not be put to shame.”For there is no difference between Jew and Greek: The same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on Him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

  How then can they call on the One they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone to preach? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

We know that not everyone can go to foreign countries. Your mission field could be in your town, school or work place or wherever you are called to go. The important thing is that you are obedient. There are many ways to get involved. 

It may be that your mission field involves providing the funds to those who can go. Raising money for these trips is hard to do. If you can, participate in this mission field and help us get back to Yurimagaus. If you will, share our story with your friends and keep us in your prayers.
