My heart was stolen by the people of Nicaragua in 2011. Their warm smiles and deep gratitude caught my attention and left me wanting to do more—not just for them, but for the world. Witnessing their need for proper healthcare was the main reason Nicaragua stayed on my mind even years after being there.

    Now I get the opportunity to serve them once more; this time through Southern Adventist University. I will be working with the nursing students in yet another medical clinic. The trip begins March 2nd and goes through the 13th. As an aspiring medical student, this was a call I did not want to ignore. I am excited to be a part of this trip, and I am excited for you all to be a part of my journey. Any small donation that you can give would mean the world to me. I plan to document my trip extensively and will put together a gallery along with stories for all to see. In a world that is becoming increasingly dark, it is important to make others aware not only of the darkness, but also of the fact that we can be lights for the world during these troubling times. It is my dream to travel all over the world and spread this kind of mindset, but for now I have this trip to focus on. Again, it is a privilege to bring you along on this journey.
