Greetings!
I appreciate your time in checking out my fundraiser page! My name is Meghan Baranda and I am a Senior Nursing major at Southern Adventist University. I am also undergoing Pre-Medical studies in hopes of fulfilling my dream of becoming a physician.
I am blessed to be participating, alongside my brother, Michael Baranda, on this mission trip to Pucallpa, Peru during Spring Break in March 3-12, 2017.
We will be joining a team of SAU pre-medical students and pre-dental students and will assist the current SAU student missionaries and on-site medical staff of AMOR Projects to provide medical assistance to the people of the Ucayalli River.
“…but I chose you and appointed you…” (John 15:16)Although providing medical assistance is our proprietary goal of our team, our ultimate goal, however, is to spread Jesus’ love to these people. Jesus emphasized to His disciples to continue His ministry that He started here on earth. Not only did He emphasize this to the disciples in the past, but He also emphasizes this to us
today.
I believe I have been called to participate in this mission trip to continue Jesus’ ministry. Through this mission trip, I will gain valuable medical experience, but I will most importantly strengthen my relationship with Jesus through healing.
Ready to be a part of His ministry?
Please consider supporting our trip financially. Your donation will help cover travel costs, supply our group with training, provide medical, dental, and optometry equipment, etc. Please review
Southern Adventist University's Giving Policy to ensure you understand how your donation will be processed.
I am grateful for any donation; however, if donating is not possible at this time, I appreciate your help in sharing this page, but most importantly ask for your prayers for our team and the success of the trip.
Again, I am deeply grateful for your time in reading this information! God Bless.
