Hello, and thank you for taking time to read about my mission trip to Haiti! 

This upcoming March, March 18th-March 26th, I will be leaving with a team to travel to Jacmel, Haiti where I will be working along side Haitians all day. There, I will be providing my time to help build and restore the projects the Restoration Ministries church is working on. Apart from providing manual labor, I will be spending the afternoons doing what I do best, helping with feeding programs and playing with the children as well as offering a week of fun through Vacation Bible School. 

I am a current Senior at The University of Oregon graduating in the spring with a degree in Family and Human Services. Through this pursuit I have learned so much about myself and my strong desire to help others in order to display the love of Christ that has been shown to me. Post graduating from the University of Oregon I will be moving back to Portland to attend Graduate School to become a licensed Marriage, Couple and Family therapist. Through that plan, I wanted to pursue this mission trip due to my high love of traveling abroad and providing my helping hand to third world countries. 

Though this page is intended to fundraise for my trip to Haiti, I would also appreciate thoughts and prayers on the path leading up to the trip and during the trip. The total trip cost for this mission trip includes airfare, food, lodging, insurance, ground transportation, supplies and excursions totally up to $2,000. I am so excited for this opportunity abroad and to spread the love of Christ to the people of Jacmel and have my heart and mind be changed through the people of Jacmel.
