In September of 2024 Parker and I got married! Over the last year and a half we have moved to Richardson and now both are on staff at our church, Watermark Community Church. It has been a joy to serve alongside one another and we've been amazed by God's faithfulness to us through community, mentors, and equipping. Last fall we participated in Watermark's Discover Missions class, where we were so blessed to be taught about God's heart for the nations. We left deeply convicted that God has a desire to use us both in His plan to reach all people. Currently, there are thousands of unreached people groups in our world. These people groups are unreached by the gospel, and have little to no access to the good news of Christ. After considering what might be a faithful next step in agreeing with God that all people ought to have access to the gospel, Parker and I are excited to go to Ethiopia this summer. Ethiopia itself has around 30 unreached people groups in country. We will get to partner with local believers to hopefully bring the gospel into villages this summer. We are so expectant for all God wants to do through us, both in Ethiopia and after. We firmly believe that God doesn't NEED us, but delights in using us. Because of this, we want to be faithful and are pumped to see the church alive in Ethiopia, pray for them, and share the gospel with those who haven't heard it. We are so grateful for this opportunity and are eager to share stories of God's faithfulness with each of you!
