Welcome!

We are so thankful to share that we are in the process of adopting from China!  The Lord has placed a calling on our hearts to adopt and we are so very excited! What started as questions for us, seeking what He had in mind for our lives, and watching Him lead us to adoption has been nothing short of amazing. I could see the hints He was leaving for us, sweet and gentle whispers from a loving Father leading us to share with an orphan what it means to not be fatherless any more. As this became more and more clear for us, things started to shift in our home and adoption became every day talk for Scott, myself and our 3 children. Then I travelled to China and things really escalated! Once you see those faces, hold those hands, whisper prayers over them, it becomes more urgent. So upon returning from China our adoption process has been moved into high speed. For this reason we will have less time to raise the full cost of adoption on our own. That's where you come in...we would love for you to be a part of this story as it unfolds.

Quick Details on How you can join us:

You are our village. We invite you to be part of this story by playing whatever role Gods leads you. The two most important areas that we need help are prayer and funding. 

We truly believe not one prayer involved in this journey will be wasted. We know this adoption is not a surprise to God. He has been beautifully orchestrating it over our lives. We want to be wise and courageous in our obedience with each step that leads us closer to the child He has chosen for us. We ask that you begin praying for this child now. There are so many specific prayers we'd ask for, but our main ones are:

Prayer:

1) Prayer for our child in China. Prayers that the love of Jesus will surround them and fill them with peace and love. Pray that their hearts will be softened and ready to receive a radical kind of love from our family. 

2) Prayer for us. Please pray that He will give us continued wisdom. Prayer for obedience to His will and for courage on the more difficult days. 

Funding:

Every donation is so important to us and will help to make this adoption a success. The total cost will be between $35,000-$50,000. We humbly ask you to consider contributing to our monetary need.  Through Pure Charity donations are tax deductible!
