Dear Friends and Family,

As you all may know, even with a plan set in place, life will often times take a turn and create a new path way off of your original plan. That is exactly what happened to me. After a year of community college after high school, I felt like something needed to take my life into a different direction.

Since September, I have been attending and interning at the Westside School or Mission Theology, and Worship, where we have been gaining knowledge and experience in the classroom, in mentorships, and our internships, which for me specifically is working with the youth group. And now we are ready to take what we have learned and use it in the field! Which entails going on a two-month long missionary trip!

Every person in our class was assigned a different location, but me and a group of four other amazing people have been assigned to go to Chiang Mai, Thailand, to work with an organization called Remember Nhu. In Thailand, my team and I are going to be helping children get out of, and prevent those susceptible to the child sex trade that is so prevalent in the country. Each day we will also be spending time as a group and then in the afternoons break off into different areas to have hands-on involvement including leading worship, teaching the Bible, assisting with feeding programs, caring for orphans, and learning the daily operations of pastoral life.

I am beyond excited to be going on this two-month trip to serve the people and children in Thailand, and to learn more about what it means to fully devote myself to the ministry. And I need your help to send me off on this journey.

There are two way that you can support me. The first is with prayer and moral support for our team and the work that we are going to be doing and the places we are going to be visiting in Thailand. Please pray that our work will be effective in reaching the people and children in Chiang Mai, and that our time abroad will be fruitful.

The second way is with financial support. The trip costs $4,500 in total and the funds will cover all airfare, accommodations, meals, ground transportation, insurance, immunizations, and incidentals.
