For over 10 years, Glade Church has hosted a chapter of Laundry Love in the New River Valley. We partner with the North Main Street Laundromat in Blacksburg, Virginia, to provide free laundry and healthy snacks four times a month to low- and no-income neighbors. While the clothes are washing and drying, volunteers spend time in conversation and community. On average, we wash over 500 loads of laundry each month at a cost of $1400. Every dollar received will be converted directly into quarters to help us meet this essential need for our community members.
