Laundry Love Citrus Heights (LLCH) seeks to bring economic relief by giving the individual or family the option to redirect funds toward food, medical, gas or transportation costs as well as school supplies and other basic, everyday necessities. 

The Laundry Love initiative consists of regular opportunities to help people who are struggling by assisting them with doing their laundry. For those living below the poverty line, washing clothes presents both a logistical problem and a financial hardship. Laundry Love volunteers have partnered with Paradise Coin Wash in Citrus Heights to clean the clothes of those living in shelters, motels, cars, garages and on the streets.

LLCH hope to raise $800 per month to ensure that all of the guests will be able to do their laundry. We hope to raise $500 per month through Pure Charity. On the second Saturday of each Month LLCH "takes over" the Paradise Coin Wash in Citrus Heights, CA. In a three hour period, it is possible to do nearly $750 in laundry. In addition, LLCH provides free coffee and snacks like doughnuts and fresh fruit (hey, we are California!) for our guests to enjoy. Coloring books are available for the children. 

Every penny donated goes to making our Saturday event a success. We are 100% volunteer group. LLCH has no paid staff. 

An average family spends about $25 for four loads of washing and drying.  If you can donate money to pay for one family's laundry, that would be wonderful. However, donations of all sizes are greatly appreeciated.
