Hello!  

We are the Kopchick Family. Currently there are just 4 of us - Ben (Dad), Stacey (Mom), Lauren (12) and Kathryn (11). We are praying for our little "peanut" to join us sometime in 2014 from Ethiopia through the blessing of adoption! 

Adoption has been on our hearts for years as we prayed for God's timing and leading in growing our family. We officially started our adoption journey at the beginning of 2012. Right now we are on the waiting list to adopt 1-2 children of either gender up to the age of 2. 

We are praying to receive our referral "match" with our baby in the next several months in the Spring or Summer of 2014. We can't wait! It feels like it is taking so long, and our hearts ache to know and hold our little one. But we also know that God has a plan for our child and for us, and things will be happening before we know it!

We've gotten some exciting news, and here is where we need your help: We have received an amazing matching grant through Hand In Hand Christian Adoption, Inc to help fund our final portion of our adoption! They will match every donation raised through Dec. 31st, 2013 dollar for dollar (up to $4000). So, for example, if you give $50 they will match that for a total of $100 being donated to our adoption agency toward our personal adoption. How awesome is that?!! If we reach our Pure Charity goal of $5500 + our matching $4000 grant we would be completely funded (minus travel costs)! What an incredible blessing this is! 

We have worked hard to save for all of our other adoption costs so far, but now we need your help to reach this special goal. We've set up a fundraising account on Pure Charity to make giving easy. You will receive a tax-deductible receipt for your donation, and all donations will go straight through the matching grant organization to our adoption agency (Lifeline Children's Services). 

Every donation is important and will help bring us one step closer to the adoption of our little "peanut". Would you kindly consider making a donation? Also, we would appreciate your willingness to share this with others who may want to participate.
