Hello Team! I am very excited to begin training for this adventure. I am climbing to the top of Africa to raise funds for college scholarships to support men and women that otherwise wouldn't be given the opportunity to educate themselves. This will provide them the means to rise up and support their community through entrepreneurial and spiritual endeavors. We believe everyone deserves to receive an education. 
As you follow my journey to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, you will be given many updates that show our progress as a team for our fundraising goal. It's real results that impact real lives! 

I have to say that I never thought I would be climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. It was an opportunity that came up a few months back and after considering it for a while I decided to go for it. So here’s why. Many of you know that Teresa and I have been sponsoring children in Rwanda for several years now. Last February we had the opportunity to actually go visit the children we sponsor. What a wonderful experience it was for the both of us. We saw first hand the impact our giving was making on these children and their families. We saw the real life challenges of simple survival that each of these families faced. We were also able to see the countries reconciliation after the horrible genocide just 20 years ago. This is a wonderful country with amazing young people that want to make an impact. This climb will give these young people an opportunity to further their education through college and make even greater impact for their community. Please join me in helping these amazing young people of Rwanda as I climb the almost 20000 ft of Mt. K!
