Here we go! Time to climb! 

There are two very big reasons I feel this is important and worthy of the efforts to train, travel and take on the trip. I want to help in providing funds for educational programs for entrepreneurs and college scholarships for pastor training.  

First, education is the key to stopping the cycle of poverty in Rwanda. But it is more than just getting a piece of paper and throwing out a resume online. In Rwanda, the paper means respect and there is inherent value in that, however, the education itself is key. throughout the country, there are opportunities everywher. The bright men and women that we hope to train, just need the knowledge and the know-how to capture the opportunity and monetize it. That is when job creation begins. After spending a couple months in country, I have seen this work first hand! 

The second purpose is for pastor training. In many remote villages of Rwanda, the pastor of the local church has heard the Gospel a time or two but that might be it. They have been given no formal training. They do not have the luxury of podcasts and fellow pastors to learn from. These scholarships are going allow candidates to earn a 3 year degree from African College of Theology  to assist them in learning what they need to know to exponentially expand the Gospel back in their villages.
