~ Jeremy And Amber's Story~

Jeremy and Amber met in July 2017 and from the beginning of their relationship they knew they wanted to adopt. There are a lot of risks with Amber getting pregnant, and with the calling of adoption God gives us, they never even considered pregnancy. They took an adoption class at their church when they were only engaged and started looking into adoption shortly after getting married because they knew how long the process could take. They didn't know just how long this journey would take them though.

They originally started pursuing adoption through foster care. They took all the classes, had the home study and would have gotten licensed any day, but they had a change of heart. Fostering is the cheapest way to adopt, but it's about reunification and their goal was adoption, so they started over by pursuing domestic infant adoption.

They couldn't be more excited about being matched with a birth mom and bringing a baby into their home straight from the hospital, knowing that he/she will be their's forever. Unfortunately, adoption costs are extremely high going this route. That's why they set up this website!

We want to thank you so much for coming here, whether we see you every day or you heard about us by word of mouth.  

We are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we will be doing fundraisers and have started this crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $40,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal for a portion of the costs to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. The rest we plan to pay with grants and personal savings. 

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the village we hope to help raise our child as he/she grows up.
