Ministering to Pastors In Haiti

Buckle your seat belt. Put your tray table up. Take off. Fly for hours. Eat questionable airline food. Sleep. Drool on your neighbor. Prepare for landing. Load into the pick-up shuttle.

This experience is all too familiar for me. However, it is what follows these steps that, in all my trips, can never be predicted and never loses the power to pierce my heart and excite my spirit. This is the work of God in a missions trip. As one close to me, you know that missions has a special place in my heart. When I came on staff at Crossline Church, I knew that it was only a matter of time before I was drawn to Haiti. That time has come and I need your help getting there.

Our Senior Pastor, JP, has been faithfully investing in pastors throughout Haiti for many years. In recent years, he has been facilitating and teaching at pastors conferences in order to prepare and equip pastors for the work or ministry within Haiti. As a series of conferences are coming to their conclusion, JP has asked me if I would personally join him as a fellow teacher and trainer. Honored to have been asked, I spent time in prayer and discussion with Alex and I happily agreed to join him. I am thrilled to be able to finally visit our partners in Haiti and be serving alongside my Senior Pastor and others for this trip!

Unashamedly, I am writing you to ask if you would financially support me in this Kingdom opportunity. On November 6th, I’ll be heading to Haiti for close to a week. The cost of the trip is $1600. Will you take a moment right now to stop and say a pray for me as I prepare to go and will you simply ask God if He would lead you to financially give a gift?
