The MSR was originally an agricultural economy but has grown more diverse in recent years. The country boasts a space industry, growing I.T. sector, and nuclear power.

MSR was the landing point for William Carey, the father of the modern missions movement. Christianity’s contributions to Indian society have been widely felt in the centuries that have followed. Despite localized persecution, Christians are actively providing education and healthcare throughout the country and spreading the gospel along the way. However, progress is still slow-moving. Even today, the vast majority of India remains completely unreached.

WHAT WE’RE DOING

This expedition is a unique opportunity to reach the people of India with the story of Jesus. We are working with a series of churches who have a passion for reaching their neighbors and communities.  

In addition to taking the gospel to the region, we will also encourage and disciple existing Christians. As people give their lives over to Jesus, they will be connected with local pastors who will establish new small groups and churches, ensuring a lasting impact in the region.
