John grew up poor in rural Kenya, one of several siblings, but God placed an entrepreneurial spark in him early. As a teenager he created Christian rap, did small side hustles, and dreamed of changing his future. The job-training he received over the last two years gave him the tools to do it.

Today, at just 20-something, John is PeopleBridge’s youngest trainer—and he’s thriving. He works six hours a day selling jeans in the market, building trust and a loyal customer base, while leading job-training groups with maturity far beyond his age. Each training begins with Scripture and a brief devotion, because John is not content to speak about God—he lives His love out loud.

Young men and women relate to him. He’s warm, approachable, trustworthy, and deeply rooted in Scripture. He bridges faith and action naturally, and he is multiplying his life in the next generation.
