Students for International Mission Service (SIMS) at Loma Linda University (LLU) Global Health Institute, plan and provide international service opportunities for LLU students around the world. The goals and objectives of each trip vary based on the needs of the hosting community and organization. Trip activities generally include providing primary medical care, dental services, public health education, evangelism, and children's programs to an under-served community. 

I have been blessed to be a part of this amazing opportunity and will be going to Thailand as a student missionary during my winter break of 2019. 

While there, we will work with Asia-Pacific International University (APIU) and Bangkok Adventist Hospital in providing health and dental screenings and care to the local population. A few things that we will do are as follows:

· Share health topics and provide health screenings in partnership with local physicians  and healthcare personnel.
· Interact with APIU faculty and students and prepare traditional local meals.
· Share academic experiences with local University students.
· Take part of local church camp meeting and activities.
