Big News! I am serving as a Communications Fellow with IJM Philippines June 2026 to May 2027! After graduating in May 2025, I wrestled with the Lord on where He was guiding me next. I continuously came back to the answer that it would be a role where I would champion the stories of the weary and downtrodden. When I discovered the opportunity to work with International Justice Mission, an organization dedicated to procuring and protecting the freedom of all, I knew this was the answer I was searching for. The seed of zeal to see freedom come which was planted in my youth sprung up again. It was really that simple. God was asking me to love others through their darkest valleys as they discovered and fought for a hope that shone despite the dark, oppressive night.
According to a 2022 Scale of Harm Study, nearly half a million Filipino children were trafficked to produce new child sexual exploitation material by nearly a quarter of adult Filipinos. The problem is widespread and must be faced head on. The staff in the International Justice Mission offices in the Philippines have been working since 2001 within the justice system and through local and global partnerships to reduce the prevalence and restore children’s freedom and safety.
I am reaching out to you now to ask you to partner with me in strengthening survivors of online exploitation in the Philippines. I would be endlessly grateful for your prayer and encouragement. Since this role is unpaid, you can also support me financially through helping me to raise my goal of $30,000 to cover training and living costs over my one year deployment. During my service over the next year starting June 2026 through May 2027, I will work as a communications fellow in the Manila office supporting the Philippine Survivor Network to record their stories, rejoice over their hard fought freedom, and pave a way for the many children still caught in the dark web of this injustice.
Every donation is important and will enable me to be present and help others in need. Would you kindly consider making a donation? Also, I would appreciate your willingness to share this with others who may want to participate.
