Hello all! I am writing this in the midst of a life-changing transition. In January, I began a four-month fellowship with International Justice Mission, a Christian human rights organization based in Washington, DC, where I am serving on the Global Finance Team. I find myself at IJM after leaving my previous job to spend time discerning what God's call was for my life, and I believe that I was led here to pursue something more than just a successful career.
International Justice Mission (IJM) is a human rights agency whose mission is to protect people from violent forces of injustice by securing rescue and restoration for victims and ensuring public justice systems work for the poor (for more information, visit www.ijm.org).
My fellowship is unpaid, therefore I need to raise funds to support my expenses. I am looking for people who believe in me and the mission of IJM and have a desire to partner alongside me in fighting to end human trafficking.
I started a fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funding that needed for this endeavor. I have a one time single donations goal of $7500 that will go toward basic living expenses such as rent, food, health insurance and car payments for the duration of this 4-month fellowship.
Please do not feel as though a small contribution is not worth sending. Any amount that you can give will be greatly appreciated, and I hope that you will prayerfully consider this option. Also, I would appreciate your willingness to share this with others who may want to participate.
Thank you so much for choosing to be a part of my life and the good work that God is doing through IJM. Until all are free!
