Thank you for taking the time to learn more about this next step in my journey: I am excited to share that I have accepted a year-long role as a Field Office Fellow with IJM in Cambodia, beginning in July 2026!

Globally, IJM works to end violence and exploitation against people living in poverty. In the IJM Cambodia field office, the team focuses on combating forced labor and coercion by strengthening law enforcement and government responses to exploitation, with particular attention to the growing prevalence of forced scamming and cross-border trafficking.

After completing my Master’s in Public Policy at the UVA, where I focused on human rights, international development, anti-trafficking policy, and corporate social responsibility, I am eager to apply these skills in a field-based setting. As the Law Enforcement and Investigations Development Fellow in the Cambodia office, I look forward to gaining a close-up understanding of how local law enforcement and government systems function, and how NGOs and other external partners can effectively support sustainable, systems-level change.

To make this year possible, I am raising $21,500 to cover deployment, living, and transition expenses from July 2026 through May 2027. While this is a professional role, it is only partially funded, and this support enables me to fully participate over the course of the year.
