Our family has started the process to adopt a girl from Eastern Europe! We are in the middle of our homestudy phase.

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. After being asked if we had started a donation website because family and friends wanted to donate, we decided to start a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $15,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.

This process so far has been very humbling for our family. God does not call the equipped, He equips the called. We have been praying on this quote and am very humbled at seeing God's work in our lives. Even our two boys are joining in on the fundraising, my oldest son did a lemonade stand to help raise funds for his baby sister!
