In early August, a group of about thirty of us from e3 Partners will be going to Peru to work with local missionaries and church members to build the church there. We will be reaching out to neighbors in underprivileged communities to invite them to attend home-groups where their faith and fellowship can grow. We will be training local leaders to continue these groups long after we are gone and connect those who are interested with local churches. While there, we will be holding Bible studies, offering to pray for needs and sharing testimonies and the gospel message. There will be sports programs to connect with the local youth as well as children’s daily meetings where they can play with others and learn about God’s love for them.

Families often go on these trips and they are very valuable for helping young people to know what they believe and how to share it with others. We are headed to an area about 5 hours outside of Lima (Peru’s capital). Many there do not have access to good local churches, do not attend church regularly, or do not have a good and vibrant relationship with the Lord.

Last year about 40 of us went on a similar trip with e3 Partners to Ecuador where over 1000 people asked to pray with us to put their faith in Jesus for the promise of eternal salvation and they gave us their contact information to pass on to local church leaders so that they could follow up with them.

We hope to experience the privilege of seeing God bring salvation to others and make a strategic impact on many lives. On top of that, we plan to have a blast!
