In May we evacuated our 24 kids and families from gang territories and moved them 6 hours to the north in a safer location, at that time. Since then the country has continued to decline as political tension rises across the country. In more than a decade of serving the people of Haiti, this has been our hardest year by far.

Now, as a humanitarian crisis engulfs the country, our friends are waking up today wondering if they are going to survive in the coming weeks. Our local leaders have shared the significant realities they are facing: the verge of a famine, disease and loss of life.

November 29th, which is The National Day of Giving, we are rallying together to raise $20K in one day to ensure children that are within our reach in Haiti will not be hungry.
