We have BIG news!

After months of prayer and research, we are beginning the process of adopting a child from another country! Dan and I feel completely called by God and committed to follow James 1:27 in caring for an adopted orphan in our home.

We are most likely using All God's Children International adoption agency to adopt a child from the Philippines. AGCI is a Christian organization committed to helping the over 8 million orphans in institutions around the world through sponsorship and adoption. 

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of 30,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.

It has been said that it takes a village to raise a child; or in this case, a village to adopt a child. We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the faithful community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. We would ask you to come alongside us in daily fervent prayer, asking God to guide us through the process, bring our little one home quickly as possible and help us be loving parents as he/he grows.
