Esmeraldas is known as a tourist beach town as well as a major seaport. This makes it a great place to plant healthy, multiplying churches among the local folks which have the potential for reaching visitors who will take the gospel home with them. We will partner with local churches that have a vision for starting new churches in neighborhoods without an evangelical presence.

This area was affected by an earthquake that hit early in 2016, so there are people still dealing with the trauma they went through. We hope to not only engage in sharing the gospel and multiplying disciples, but also to do some crisis counseling. In addition, we will have reading glass clinics which include a women's ministry area and a children's program during the adult Bible studies.
