Hi everyone. I am going on a Mission Trip to Haiti with our Church and the Shiloh Christian High School basketball team. Samuel will be going with the basketball team as part of his Senior Year Global Missions Experience (GME) trip. I am blessed to be able to go also to help provide support and most importantly, to minister to the youth that live near an orphanage/mission center called The Joy House in Gressier, Haiti. This trip will consist of putting on a big soccer tournament for the kids and a basketball camp/tournament for the older guys near the orphanage/mission center. We will have both students and adults lined up to play with the kids on sidelines and do VBS type activities with the spectators. We are also planning to do teacher training for the CIRM teachers and village evangelism. We would covet your prayers as the group prepares and travels in the coming weeks.
