I believe the Lord has called me back to Ecuador for another short term mission. This will be my 3rd trip to beautiful Ecuador. I am writing to you see if you’d be willing to partner with me to bring the Gospel to the unreached people of Ecuador. We will be ministering in Cuenca, Ecuador from July 1-9, 2016. Cuenca is the key location for teaching church planting throughout south central Ecuador. I’m excited to be joined by Dave Anderson (a Cypress elder and dear friend) and several of our college students. The mission is pretty simple: 1. Provide free medical care and reading glasses 2. Share the good news of Jesus with all who are willing to listen. 3. Help local pastors plant churches. Our team will partner with local pastors and churches to target unreached areas with the Gospel. Prior to our arrival, our e3 coordinator identifies strategic locations for us to minister. These are areas without an established evangelical church. Each day we will team up with several local believers, including translators, to provide free medical care. After receiving medical care, each person will have an opportunity to hear from someone on our team about the good news of Jesus Christ. The nationals we work with are committed to in-home follow-up discipleship lessons to encourage new believer to read and study the Bible. They are also dedicated to establishing new churches in these areas! It is likely that we will be providing care and sharing the Gospel with over 1,000 people during our trip!
