Located about 50 miles from Sao Paulo, Santos is the biggest seaport in all of Latin America, handling over 72 million tons in 2006. In 2013, it ranked number 38 in the world as a seaport. Santos has large industrial complexes and shipping centers, which handle a large portion of the world's coffee exports, as well as a number of other Brazilian exports including steel, oil. cars, oranges, bananas and cotton.
Like many cities in Brazil, Santos has large populations of educated people and many very poor areas. We will be working with a church that desires to reach people through evangelism and small cell groups.
Join us on this adventure and help to grow God's church in Santos, Brazil.
