Dickens is one of the most humble, steady, and quietly powerful leaders in PeopleBridge. As a boy and teenager, he endured difficult wounds and painful circumstances—struggles that could have crushed his future. But Dickens chose a different path. He allowed God to transform his pain into purpose.
Today he trains groups for Compassion International, travels long distances to remote communities, mentors caregivers, and helps families move from dependency to sustainability. He is also deeply involved in men’s ministry—leading two groups, encouraging men toward responsibility, healing, and spiritual growth.
His work in prisons, rural communities, and training centers has produced measurable results. Caregivers are providing for themselves. Men are becoming leaders. Families are stabilizing. And Dickens continues to multiply his influence with quiet courage.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.” — Psalm 34:18

From Brian & Erin:
We met Dickens when he was still a teenager. Watching him rise from deep wounds to become one of our strongest leaders has been one of the great joys of this ministry. Jacinta constantly praises his integrity, work ethic, and growth. In 2026, we hope a committed group will surround him with prayer, encouragement, and consistent support as he continues multiplying his life.
