EXCITING NEWS!

We've decided to adopt a child! After much prayer and discussion, we strongly feel that God has placed a burden on our hearts to adopt our child from China. We are thrilled to have found such a wonderful Christian adoption organization like CCAI (Chinese Children Adoptions International) to assist us with our adoption journey. We're so excited to be starting our journey to adopt a child from China, and be able to give our child the opportunity of a loving Christian home, where they will be nurtured and blessed with loving parents and an amazing and loving extended family.

For several years now, we have tried to start a family, but have been unsuccessful. As many of you may know, this can be a very heart wrenching experience to struggle through. During this time we began to pray and ask God for understanding and direction and in this time God began to lay the burden of adoption on our hearts. Shortly before we were married in 2013, Lori shared with me that as a child God had placed a burden on her heart to adopt, and how when she was young, she used to tell her Mom that she wanted to adopt a child from China. At the time this was not a burden that I personally shared, as I had a very strong desire to raise a family "naturally". However, over time God began to place that same burden upon my heart as well, and he has placed a strong tug on our hearts for the orphaned children in China.  

Just like us, many families have a desire for adoption, but often times are discouraged by the tremendous financial obligation that comes with this process. Adoption is very expensive, but it is also so worth every minute and every dollar contributed. To be able to bring a child that has no future into your home, and love and nurture them and offer them a FOREVER FAMILY and a bright future, is worth everything!

For our adoption the estimated cost is around $28,000.00 - $30,000.00!

So, to help us with the expenses of our adoption journey, we've started a fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funding that we need to make our adoption a success. We have a donations goal of $30,000.00 that will go towards the initial cost of the adoption. It's been our dream to help give a child an opportunity like this and we hope that you will consider helping us make our dream a reality.

Your donations are tax deductible as allowed by IRS specifications. All funds donated will be sent directly to our adoption agency, CCAI (Chinese Children Adoptions International) to cover any related adoption expenses.
