Hey everyone! My name is Danny Rippe and I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at Walla Walla University. God has created a passion in me for the people of India, and so, I will be spending the next year serving in India. God has given me an incredible opportunity to be used for His plan and glory, and I am so excited for the journey He has in store for me.

My goal in India is to start a soccer team in order to build relationships with young people in a slum in Kolkata. I pray God will use those relationships to allow me to build a youth church in the slum to connect the youth to God. Through friendship, God's love will be seen. Meanwhile, I will be doing work with sex trafficking to fight for the enslaved and abused in conjunction with micro-financing to provide opportunity for the marginalized.
 
I am going to be challenged, tried, and tested, and even though I go into the future joyfully, I need your support. The best way you can support me is with prayer. I believe prayer has the power to change the world, and I will need as much prayer as I can get. Additionally, I am trying to get the funds necessary to make this trip a reality. Costs for my trip include rent costs, food expenses, insurance bills, the funds to accomplish my goals, and more. Every little bit counts as I head down this exciting journey.
