Dear friends,

I hope you are well and that this summer was full of long and joyful days. I wanted to let you in on a little bit of what’s going on in my life these days and share a few things the Lord is doing. So I moved to Arkansas! Man, that is not where I expected to be this fall but I am so deeply grateful to have found a home here and great friends to call my own, the Lord has been so kind in providing me a place I love. I moved down south in late August to begin the Cross Church School of Ministry. The CCSM is a one-year ministry residency that creates the space for those looking to serve God’s church and gain hands-on experience here in Northwest Arkansas, the opportunity to earn academic credit towards a seminary degree and the chance to travel and serve the church in new contexts.

This year is going to be an incredible opportunity to prepare for ministry. I am serving this year with the Young Adult ministry at our Springdale campus! Even in these first weeks here, that community has been such a gift to be part of and serve. Alongside the cohort of residents here in the CCSM, I will be traveling to Denver, Colorado; Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and New York City. We are all so thankful for the chance to travel and get a look into what the Lord is doing in these places and to partner in that, even for a short time. As we embark on these trips I am asking for your partnership in two ways:

Prayer: Not only for these trips but for this entire year, I ask for your prayers. For endurance, clarity of mind, open hands and a humble heart to receive what the Lord may be trying to do. Prayer that the Lord would prepare our hearts for each of our trips and that we would be his vessels in the opportunities we’ve been given. Prayer for safety for our teams and that we can be sustained to fulfill the purpose of our going

Giving: As a part of my School of Ministry experience, I am support-raising financially in order to cover the cost of our mission trips. The average cost of a CCSM student is $5,000. We are blessed to be able to go on these trips at all but it would not be possible without the partnership of our friends and family joining in the mission of what we are doing! It would be a real gift to have you partner with me financially for the purpose of these trips.
