Hi friends! I am so excited to share with you that I have an opportunity to join a team from 99 Balloons to change the story of disability in South Asia. 99 Balloons has partnered with Pediatrics Plus to serve their global partners. We will be traveling to rural areas near the Himalayas to train and support a group of small clinics that work to provide medical services, therapy services and special education to persons with disability in the surrounding areas.

The mission of 99 Balloons is to build inclusive communities so that every person with a disability and their family can live a full life within relationships. This mission is so important to me as I am surrounded by individuals with special needs on a daily basis. For the last 2.5 years, I have been working as a Registered Behavior Technician doing Applied Behavior Analysis for children with Autism. In other words, I provide a method of therapy that is used to improve or change specific behaviors. My passion and skills have been to love on these children and help provide meaningful and impactful change in the lives of both the individual and their families.

The vision of 99 Balloons involves changing the story of disability by proclaiming the worth and image-bearing beauty of each and every human being. Despite all of our differences, we were all fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). This is why I am excited to go to South Asia. There is a need to support other countries with a different set of resources to help improve the lives of individuals with disability.

As I embark on this journey, there are a few things I am asking you to consider. This trip to South Asia does not come without the need for financial support. I am hoping to raise $3,000. Will y'all prayerfully consider assisting me to reach this goal?

The other huge request is will you join me in praying for this trip? It would be humanly impossible for us to go and make an impact in the lives of other individuals with disabilities without involving Him in prayer! My specific requests are:

• My team as we prepare to head to South Asia
  
• The hearts of the individuals we will meet, that we are able to provide lasting change in such a short time through loving on the individuals and supporting the clinicians
  
• Safety in traveling and on the ground
• For wisdom and that we use every gift the Lord has provided for us during our time in South Asia.
