Merry Christmas!  We are so excited for Christmas to arrive.

This year, we are inviting you to join us in giving the children at Esther’s House experiences to last the whole year!  Our goal is $6,000, to be spread out, $500 per month, benefiting ALL of our children in the following three areas.

Educationally

We have been blessed with several laptop computers. We want to stock these computers with educational apps to be used during tutoring time. The funds will be used to purchase internet data and apps to add as an educational resource. We are excited to be able to offer the children new experiences through technology. 

Culturally

This year, we want to gift the children with more cultural experiences through bringing in guest speakers. Bringing in role models and a variety of professionals is a great way to encourage the children and widen their view, and motivate them in school. The funds will be used to help our guest speakers with public transportation to travel to Esther’s House.

Travel

The purchase of the bus this year, has been such a blessing to our ministry at Esther’s House! We have been able to utilize this resource to take the children on two field trips this year. The residential children enjoyed a full day at Lake Malawi. The community children recently were able to take a trip to tour the pottery making process in Dedza. These were the first trips the children have been on where they have been able to go outside Ntcheu district. With the funds, we will be able to purchase bus fuel ($8 a liter) and take our children on more field trips to see their beautiful country
