As many of you know, for the last 2 years, Milton and I have been given the opportunity to be camp Grams & Pop by partnering with our church, Park Hill San Diego, in hosting a week-long overnight summer camp for sweet kiddos in the San Diego foster care system. 

God has blessed this beautiful gathering of kids ranging from ages 5-12 and 1.5 adults, per child, to come together in a time of relationship building, sharing the love of Jesus, playing games, doing crafts, having a HUGE birthday party for the kids, taking walks, listening, eating meals together, and so much more. Park Hill is committed to making this happen every year as it is our desire to share the love of Jesus, and truth be told, we all come away from camp changed from the inside out. 

This camp now hosts 35 kids and 50+ adults, to make the camp possible, costs Park Hill about $60k to run. The finances cover the cost of the entire experience making it possible for every child to join camp free of charge. Every adult is a volunteer and takes a week vacation, from their jobs, to share in this experience. We are also encouraged to reach out to our friends and family and allow you the opportunity to come along the side of us, the church, and the kids to raise funding. 

Milton and I are excited to attend again this year and would like to raise a minimum of $1000 to help make a dent in the cost of camp. We understand that not everyone can attend camp but we also understand that we can all be a part in one way or another. Would you consider donating to the overall cost of camp through our fundraiser page? Every dollar goes directly into covering the cost camp which includes, but is not limited too, the rental of the campground, meals, crafts, snacks, gifts, the kids birthday party and every tiny detail I don't even know about. Your contribution can dramatically impact the health and well-being of one of San Diego’s most fragile populations. 

Most importantly will you partner with Milton and I in prayer as we prepare to give ourselves away, hear hard stories without being able to fix them, strength in every way, rest, and MOST importantly that the kids would feel safe and secure in yet another new place they are experiencing.
