In just a few short months I will board a plane to Cajamarca, Peru on my first medical mission trip. I am so thankful to be apart of McWhorter School of Pharmacy and have the opportunity to serve along side of my colleagues. 

Cajamarca is a gorgeous city in the Andes Mountains of Peru. The altitude is 8,900 feet above sea level and the city has a population of 250,000. The area has mild temperatures all year long. The Spanish colonial architecture is beautiful as are the luch and green landscapes.

Our goal is to use medicine to soften hearts so we can share the gospel of Jesus Christ with those who come for care. New house churches will be planted in 7 different areas around the city, mostly outside the city limits.
