We have reached 100% of our goal for Food for the Holidays!

Although the campaign website shows 75%; with the checks we have received in the mail, we have raised over $15,000.

The holiday season is quickly approaching.


At Christ’s Gift Academy we love the spirit of giving that comes along with this season! Each year, we desire to provide our students with a practical gift for Christmas.

In Kenya, and much of East Africa, a prolonged 2-year drought which brought shortened and erratic rainfalls, has led to a region-wide food crisis. The dry conditions mean that arable land is limited, and crop cultivation is challenging, if not fruitless. As a result, food prices have risen 20-30% over the past year.

We want to meet the current needs by providing our CGA students and their families with a month’s supply of maize and beans.


We are on a mission to nourish our 250 CGA families this holiday season.



$25 provides one child with food for the holiday season

$60 provides one family with food for the holiday season



The school year ended earlier than normal this year, during the week of Oct 24th. The students are now on holiday (school break) until January 2018. Throughout the school year, CGA students receive 2 meals per day as part of child sponsorship.

This holiday season, during a time of uncertainty with high food prices and the disputed Presidential elections and unrest, we want to stand together with our families and ensure they have the food necessary to sustain them until the new school year begins.
