It's not hard to look back on our story and thank God for bringing us together. Two kids from small towns, thousands of miles apart, ended up in a big city in the South where our lives intersected. We met working for a Minor League Baseball team, sharing a common love for baseball. It was love at first sight for Chad and love at third or fourth sight for Julie. After a year and a half of dating and our first big move together, Chad got on his knee and proposed. Six months later, we were married and began a life that has been full of big moves, big decisions and lots of big adventures. Ten years later, we are beyond grateful for God's grace in continually sustaining, growing and strengthening us individually and also together. We are blessed to have built a life together, and today more than ever, our focus is to live a life that brings glory to the Lord. We realize that every good and perfect gift is from Him, and take none of it for granted. Above all else, we value our family and friends, and simply could not do life without the love and support of others. Perfect moments for us are when we gather together over food, conversation, and laughter. Our greatest struggle has been walking through years of infertility. We value family above all else, and our deepest desire is to grow ours. The thought of giving a child a home and surrounding them with the love of our friends and family brings us immense joy and anticipation! As much as we have loved seeing our story unfold, we know it would be magnified by bringing a child home.
