Well hello there! Thank you for stopping by this page! This summer I plan to embark on a short-term mission trip to Sucre, Bolivia (July 8 – July 16, 2016). My trip is organized by e3 Partners Ministry and I will be serving with seven other people from my church, Austin Chinese Church. Our team will be led by e3 Leader David Wang and Pastor Gaylord Tsuei.

Sucre is the constitutional capital and sixth most populated city in Bolivia. We will be going to Sucre to church plant and strengthen churches through door-to-door evangelism. Each day, I will work with a few of my teammates and a local translator to go throughout the community and share Christ with those we meet. We will share our testimonies with them and invite them to the local church. Our local partners are committed to following up with those who make professions of faith throughout the week and will establish new and stronger churches in those areas.

Our team will also be hosting an eye clinic to serve those in need. We will not just be offering glasses and checkups but we will, more importantly, also be sharing about what it means to be spiritually blind. Though glasses will help the people see physically, we will help open their eyes to understand how the only way to move from spiritual blindness to sight is by believing in Jesus and what He has done for us. I am definitely looking forward to the eye clinic as I am going off to college soon and am praying about whether God is calling me into medical missions!

In order for this trip to happen, I need your partnership. I believe God has called me to go but this can only happen if others will join my sending team of supporters. Pray that God will prepare all of our hearts – the team’s, the translator’s, and the Bolivians’. Pray for boldness and courage as I live out Christ’s love in faith. Pray for the churches and ministries we will be serving with as they reach the towns and villages where the name of Jesus has never been heard before.
