“An Empty Belly Has No Ears”

I believe the old saying that “an empty belly has no ears.” I’ve heard it’s an African proverb and I think there’s some truth to it. I apply this thought like this, that when we share the love of Jesus people sometimes are not open to the message if they have urgent physical needs. So we want to meet those needs because we believe that’s part of what Jesus would do. Jesus said in John 15:12 my command is this “love each other as I have loved you..”  

Matthew 5:16 “in the same way let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your father in heaven.”

It’s been a dream of mine to help more and more people with their physical needs as well as their spiritual needs. So we started a nonprofit faith-based training organization who's desire is to have people serve people thru service projects. I'am doing this full-time now and would ask for your help.
