Our family is growing!

Adoption made us a family and adoption will make us a family of six this fall! Many parents can't wait to bring home the little baby, but we can't wait to bring home our teenage son and young daughter. Our son will be 14 once he is home and our daughter is nine years old. They have both waited for a family for far too long!

It has been a journey of prayer, study, honest friendships, seeking wisdom and being vulnerable that has brought us to the decision to adopt two young people who could very well remain without a family if we don't step up. They need and deserve a family to walk with them through life.

We would love for you to partner with us. The urgency is in the fact that our son will age out in November and will not be adoptable after that.

How can you help?

• First, we need prayer. We have extremely short timelines that need some miraculous handling by God and we need prayer that all the paperwork will go through every hand quickly, accurately and in time for the next deadline to be met. We also covet your prayers as we prepare our children at home for siblings and as our children in China will have an abundance of change this fall. We are applying for grants, as well, so please pray for God's provision through that avenue, as well.
  
• Second, this was not on our radar last year. Therefore, we've started a fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funding we need to complete the adoptions. Many people scoff at the idea of international adoption because of the cost. We have walked this road before and have seen God use people in a mighty way to be a part of our adoption story. While not everyone can adopt, everyone can help in one way or another. Would you consider helping us bring two children into our family? All funds will go directly to our adoption expenses. Every donation is important and will help make these adoptions happen. Would you kindly consider making a donation?
  
• Also, we would appreciate your willingness to share this with others who may want to participate. There are many people who will help with an adoption if they know there is a need.
