Human trafficking is the fastest growing crime in the world and generates over 32 billion dollars a year. I first learned that children, women, and men were still being forced into slavery all around the world a few years ago when listening to a podcast. Ever since that day, my heart has hurt for those being trafficked and longed to help in whatever way I could. I began by researching and donating to organizations that helped fight for God's children who are against an evil in this world that nobody should have to encounter. People are worth more than what their bodies have to offer, they are valuable, they have a tremendous worth, they are loved.. they are priceless. 

I am pursuing my master of social work degree to one day work full time with women who have been victims of trafficking. I want nothing more than to be able to show them that they are beautiful and so deeply loved. I want to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with them! That is why, when I was presented with the opportunity to head to Thailand to raise awareness of Human Trafficking in the red light district, build relationships and serve those who once were sold but are now being restored... I had to say yes and just go!
