We are the Bentz Family!  Josh, Amy, Rori, Trent and coming soon... TWO new blessings from Ethiopia! Adoption was first placed on our hearts over three years ago when our eyes and our hearts were opened to the plight of orphaned children around the world. We knew God was asking us to step out in faith and allow Him to work in our lives in a new and exciting way. We followed His leading and on January 26, 2011, our journey officially began.  

When we started our adoption we thought God was simply calling us to change the life of two children. But we have been the changed ones and we have drawn closer to the heart of Christ through this journey. Although it has taken much longer than we expected, our God is faithful!  On April 11, 2014, we got the referral call we had waited three years for.  For the first time we saw the precious faces of our daughter and son! 

***UPDATE*** We are traveling!!!! We will be spending a week with our children and attending our court appointment on Thursday July 31st in Ethiopia!!!

The last 7 weeks have been a whirlwind of paperwork and court hearings, but we are so close! We are anticipating our first trip to Ethiopia for our court appearance to be in July. We will stay for a week, spend as much time as possible getting to know our children, attend court and officially become a family of SIX!  Unfortunately, we will have to return home without them while we wait for the Embassy to issue their visas.  We expect to return 2-4 weeks later to bring them home!

We have a donations goal of $20,000 that will go towards the final costs of our adoption. Every tax-dedutible donation helps bring our daughter and son HOME.  Our adoption expenses are exceeding $60,000. Would you kindly consider making a donation? Also, we would appreciate your willingness to share this with others who may want to participate.
