These past few years have been some of the most treasured and sharpening times I have ever experienced. When I moved to Dallas in 2020, I had no idea that the Lord was going to use this time to show me all the ways I had been trying to control my life (unsuccessfully) and instead, lead me to ultimately rely on him in every area of my life. It is still a constant battle of my will and His, but when I am able to lay my life at his feet I know I can trust Him with it. 

I wanted to share about an amazing opportunity that will allow me to travel on my first ever mission trip, to Ethiopia! I will be traveling this summer, from June 2 through 11th to a few different villages in the Oromo region. I will be traveling with fellow young adults from my church and our partner organization, E3 Partners. 

Our prayer is that this trip will open doors to allow the local church to share the gospel with unreached areas. Personally, I pray that I grow in closer relationship with and dependence on the Lord by learning about His character through the eyes of those who walk a completely different path than me.
