Arkansas Arts Academy is a charter school on the path to becoming one of the most respected public arts schools in the country. Our dual mission is to provide professional conservatory arts education and college preparatory academic education. We serve a diverse body of students from across Northwest Arkansas regardless of income or experience.
We offer our students a wide variety of arts classes including guitar, piano, culinary arts, 2D and 3D art, digital media, theater, orchestra, visual arts, creative writing, dance, and fashion design. Our beautiful state of the art facilities provide our students with a creative place to explore their chosen arts while working on their academic studies. As a charter school we receive 36% less funding than traditional public schools. Rights and royalties, instruments, software, tools, and materials are expensive, leaving a substantial gap between funding and needs. Teachers in public arts education often accept less pay to be in an arts environment and to nurture creative endeavors. Our hope is to partner with visionary companies and individuals in our community. Together, we can provide resources so that these teachers' professional experience and passion for their field can connect with the minds of students, producing a generation of young professionals who approach the world with ingenuity, compassion, and intelligence.
The AAA Parent-Teacher Guild raises money each year to provide a variety of supplies for our art classes as well as our academic classes. Items that include, but are not limited to, are instruments, classroom supplies, electronics, special speakers, and many other things to help provide our students and teachers the tools and opportunities to succeed both academically and artistically. We are asking you to go on this journey with us as an Arts Education Supporter.
