On September 7, 2017 (from midnight to midnight CST), come together with friends of ALARM as we commit together to develop servant leaders who reconcile relationships to transform communities.
Last year, when I was in Keney, I shared the story of how we gave one woman a cow. She had 10 kids and was a single mom. With the milk from the cow, she was able to put all her children through school and her whole community thrived. When a calf was born to her cow, the community chose the next woman to receive the calf to help her and her community. This picture shows the passing of the third calf to the third woman.
Below is a photo of me at the police barracks in Uganda. The women are wives of police officers. They held their own peace club where many went through of process of forgiveness and reconciliation. They are also accountable to each other to keep the peace in their community. As they took care of their community and friends after the community................
