Dessie is located in the Amhara region which is a Northern Region of Ethiopia; the region has 22 Million people and less than 0.02% are believers in Jesus Christ. They have bibles and crosses but have no idea where they will spend eternity - our team is being sent to them to explain the truth ~ the gospel to them. Many Dessie families have been deceived in sending their young daughters to the Middle East to work they often end up in the sex-trade. We will educate families about Human Trafficking and explain to them why they should not send their children away, as we endeavor to plant churches among them.
