Our Mission

Voice of the Orphan is committed to providing ethical and God honoring adoptions in Haiti. We are guided by the Bible and believe that caring for widows and orphans is a clear obligation of the Christian Church. Our goal is to process adoptions with integrity, honesty and compassion.

Voice of the Orphan is a licensed Adoption Agency (IN license 10000036559) and an approved 501(c)(3). We currently work exclusively with families in the US and Canada who are interested in adopting children from Haiti.

Where we work

Our work is focused in the country of Haiti.  We partner with Giving Hope Rescue Mission, a licensed creche in Montrouis, located sixty miles north of Port au Prince. Giving Hope was established in 2009 and has quickly become a valued partner within the adoption community.

The Haitian adoption process has specific guidelines regarding eligibility related to age, length of marriage (if applicable) and whether you have biological children. We invite you to review these restrictions and complete our pre-application to see if you meet these requirements.

We invite you to first review the eligibility requirements.  If you qualify you are welcome to complete our preliminary application to see if Voice of the Orphan is the right agency to fit your situation. We have an overtly Christian mission and desire to see children raised with a love for Jesus.

Voice of the Orphan has been able to help families process the adoption of a child in other orphanages (more information coming soon). These situations will be evaluated on a case by case basis.  If you need more information about this we invite you to contact us.
