Much like the training and apprenticeship of an artisan, the trade-crafts of storying and faith sharing are more about flow than form. Whether in Birmingham or in a third world village, intentional faith centered conversations can be Kingdom building endeavors that we learn to do in a very artistic and beautiful way.
Fostering and championing the use of these skills can be a multiplying strategy for making long term disciples rather than mere converts (Matthew 28:18-20). The convergence of handcrafted art forms, agriculture and conversational evangelism lie at the heart of New Water training. It’s more about being than doing.
The application of these skills across the Acts 1:8 grid from Jerusalem, to Judea, to Samaria and even to the ends of the earth allows both short and long term missionaries (all of us) to be impactful as well as self sustaining and reproducing. New Water training employs contagious and infectious approaches to evangelism and accomplishes disciple making through cell group and church planting methodologies.
Providing a facility, resources and training to equip others in these skills are the primary reasons we exist. Discipling new Christ followers as well as mentoring and training veterans in the faith are core competencies for New Water disciple making and multiplication. We hope you can join us.
New Water Ministries is a 501(3)C non-profit organization.
